Sierra versions

As seen here:

I guess that's why the EcoQuest CD soundtrack sounds quite different from the floppy version, it's an early SCI1.1 game with General MIDI support.

It does seem to vary with the game. SQ4CD was SCI1.1 also but the soundtrack was very similar to the SCI1 DOS version. Having said that I could hear a few differences in the arrangements.

I've got some advice from the guys over at Sierra Music Central now so I think I know what I'm doing with the rest of the soundtracks. Basically everything I haven't done yet is SC-55 except for PQ1VGA, QFG1VGA & possibly QFG3. I'll record the MT-32 soundtracks first. The sound canvas soundtracks might sound a bit better for some Windows users but on the whole it's only really going to be worth using on the PSP so I'll leave the general midi games for last.

I'm going to look at putting the Lands Of Lore control system back into the PSP port before I do any more soundtracks so there won't be any for a little while depending on how long that takes me.
